Welcome to the SFNO Lasallian Symposium!

In attempt to advance the formation of our faculty and staff as well as grow our connection with each other in the larger Lasallian Family, we proudly announce our first Regional Lasallian Symposium on January 27, 2017 at Saint Mary's College in Moraga.

Our theme: Transformative Lasallian Education for the 21st Century

​

The goals for the symposium are as follows:

​

  • Deepen understanding and lived practices of Lasallian charism and pedagogy

  • Foster camaraderie among educators at Northern California Lasallian Schools

  • Share best and next practices

​

The day will be designed for faculty and staff and led by faculty and staff from Bay Area ministries who are members of the John Johnston Institute of Contemporary Lasallian Practice. Participating schools include the following:

​

  • Christian Brothers High School (Sacramento)

  • De Marillac Academy (San Francisco)

  • De La Salle Academy (Concord)

  • De La Salle High School (Concord)

  • Justin-Siena High School (Napa)

  • Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco)

  • Saint Mary’s College of California (Moraga)

  • Saint Mary’s College High School (Berkeley)

The planning committee is committed to facilitating a conference that is planned FOR school administrators, faculty, and staff BY school administrators, faculty and staff. As such, planning committee members will be reaching out in their own schools, and to their colleagues and friends at other schools, to solicit input and proposals that are relevant for all the various ministries within our schools. Members of the planning committee include the following, in alphabetical order:
